The past is all around us. We live our lives against a rich backdrop formed by historic footsteps, values, ethics and other physical survivals of our past. But the historic environment is more than just a matter of material remains. It is central to how we see ourselves and to our identity as individuals, communities and as a nation. It is a physical record of what our country is and how it came to be in current existence. Building materials and styles can define region’s localities and communities. Historic landscapes or iconic buildings can become a focus of community identity and pride. At a more local level a historic temples, monuments, inscriptions, culture or park can help define a neighbourhood and create a sense of local cohesion.
Nepal is richest country for different types of culture, tradition and natural sites too. There are 10 world heritage sites and 15 sites are included in tentative list. But, there are so many places and sites which are yet to be exposed. Similarly, so many sites are near of extinction due to careless of ourselves.
So, we started to aware the peoples about the importance of heritage sites. For this, we are publishing the pure Heritage magazines like HERITAGE NEPAL in English language and SAMPADA NEPAL in local language with international standard in the country.
The publisher organization is advised with veteran culturist Mr. Satya Mohan Joshi, senior historian Prof. Dr. Tek Bahadur Shrestha, senior Professor of culture Dr. Dilli Raj Sharma, senior Professor of Nepali language Dr. Jay Raj Pant, senior conservationist Mr. Ukesh Raj Bhuju and Dr. Bishnu Prasad Gautam.
